  Karla Antonio, NSCA-CPT is the Strength and Conditioning Coach. Assistant General Manager (note: any inquiries regarding trying out for the team must be emailed to Karla, dbsharks@gmail.com).   Her athletic accomplishments include: High school All-American in Cross Country/Track and Field (1988); Full Scholarship Cross Country/Track Athlete- Drake University (1988-1992); 2 time Gateway Conference (NCAA D1) Cross Country Champion and National Qualifier (1988,1989); Gateway Conference Athlete of the Decade (Cross Country) (1982-1992). Also, her background includes: Master’s Degree from UT Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, TX; Head Track/Cross Country Coach Ursuline Academy (Dallas, TX) (1994,1995,1996 – 3 time State Cross Country Champs); Head Cross Country Coach University of Nebraska-Kearney (NCAA D2) (1998);  NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) Certified Personal Trainer (2004-present).
Jose Antonio, PhD, CSCSGeneral Manager/Head Coach -  Jose (“Joey”) Antonio is the CEO of the International Society of Sports Nutrition as well as a professor of Exercise Science at Nova Southeastern University.  He has written 14 books and over 1000 articles on training, nutrition, and supplementation for sports and is a CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist).
Coach Ryan Rogge - In high school Ryan started all four years at Orange Park HS Ryan earned first-team all-state honors as a senior after being named second-team all-state her junior year. She was an all-county selection all four years and had over 1,000 career strikeouts and broke Florida’s state record for most strikeouts in a single game. In college, Ryan pitched at D-1 Western Kentucky University. She is on the all-time WKU list for consecutive scoreless innings with 20.2 and also averaged almost 6 strikeouts per game. Ryan is now the official pitching coach of the Deerfield Beach Sharks as well as a Jiu jitsu World Champion (so the Sharks know better than to mess with her!)
Coach Lesa Boneé – Softball Advisor to the little Sharks  – She enters her eighth season at the helm of the Nova Southeastern University softball team. Boneé has a 411-298-1 overall record in 13 seasons and is 229-170-1 at NSU. In her career, Boneé s programs have produced 23 All-Conference, 12 All-Region and two All-America selections.  She helps the Deerfield Beach Sharks with softball skills and have helped turn them into one of the most successful 10U teams in Florida and in the nation.  Boneé holds a bachelor of science degree in physical education from Middle Tennessee State and a master of arts degree in educational leadership from the University of Sarasota.
Coach Jason Cochrane - Formerly the head coach of the Lady Bandits, Jason has taken the reins as the 1st base coach of the Deerfield Beach Sharks.  Moreover, Jason and Karla (General Manager) work together as the game day coaches for their stellar line-up of pitchers.
Kevin Griffith – Coach - Kevin was an Assistant Softball Coach at Piper High School in Sunrise, FL.  Kevin is the Third Base Coach of the Sharks, Kevin is also a polic officer with the Lauderhill PD.
